On Tuesday March 19th, Domus was proud to accept a Top Employer award given out by the University of Waterloo co-op department. This award recognizes Domus a great supporter of the UW co-op program. Currently Domus employs 7 co-op students from the University of Waterloo for the winter 2013 work term.

Miss Oktoberfest is a face of KW’s largest and most community-oriented festival! She will reign from September 29-Oct 13 in KW 2012 Oktoberfest, and all year long with the Oktoberfest Schools program. Events include opening ceremonies, thanksgiving day parade, daily appearances at Festhallen, family and cultural events, personal appearances, TV interviews, publicity activities, photos, radio appearances and conventions! Miss Oktoberfest is a favourite among the thousands of school children she comes in contact with during the festival through the Schools Program and family events. Making over 125 appearances each year, she is an ambassador extending this area’s unique German heritage, while increasing national and international interest in our community.
