We are currently looking for a Lease Advisor to join our leasing team at our head office location in Waterloo, ON.

Job description

As front line personnel of the firm at our headquarters, you will be the main liaison between our clients, onsite staff and operations. You will be using your excellent organizational skills to keep accurate and up to date records. You will be guiding both residents and offsite representatives through the leasing process and legal documents as well as our policies and procedures.  You will work closely with our Leasing Consultants across the portfolio to ensure we over-deliver on every promise through the entire customer journey and ensure a smooth transition from lead to a resident. Preparing and tracking legal documentation and correspondence throughout the residency.

Main Responsibilities

  • Answering new/current residents’ questions about legal documents/processes including leases, addendums and deposits
  • Prepare and editing legal documents
  • Administration and front desk duties including phone system, preparing correspondence, greeting clients as front line personnel
  • Coordinate deposit collection and communicating with the leasing admin team to facilitate proper lease set-up and collection
  • Monitor and coordinate records ensuring they are up to date and accurate
  • Liaise between clients and office site reps to expedite workflow
  • Coordinating lease signings and deposit collection
  • Consistently following up with residents to ensure deadlines are met
  • Answering phone and email inquiries about properties available
  • Receive and process payments
  • Enforce and review policies
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite including Word and Excel
  • Assist with move-ins as needed in April/May and August/September
